DR. NYMPHA D. GUEMO- NEW OIC-SDS OF DepEd Sorsogon City

 “ I am glad I went back to Sorsogon” this was the statement of Dr. Nympha D. Guemo, OIC-Schools Division Superintendent, during her first appearance and meeting with the SDO Personnel and staff as newly installed Officer-In-Charge of the Office of the Superintendent  in the City Division of Sorsogon.

Dr. Guemo told the SDO staff that she was not expecting her immediate transfer to her position since she was just new in the Division of Catanduanes but she was glad her prayers were granted. She is now the new Superintendent of DepEd Sorsogon City.

SDS Guemo vowed to do her best to bring what is best for Sorsogon City Division. As a challenge, she asked  everyone to work hard for the benefit of learners of  Sorsogon City.

Along with the presentation of her leadership style, she also presented Project REACH and SHINE as her approach of governance in DepEd Sorsogon City. Project REACH and SHINE is simply reaching learners with honesty and integrity. She encouraged everyone to live with it and to be serious about it.

Dr. Guemo was appointed on January 8, 2016 as OIC-SDS of Sorsogon City Division vice SDS Socorro dela Rosa who was transferred to her own place, Province of Catanduanes. 

Prior to her assignment in Sorsogon City, Guemo was assigned as OIC-SDS of Camarines Sur for __________ and in Catanduanes, she served for _________________.

Dr. Nympah D. Guemo started her career in DepEd as an an ordinary  MATHEMATICS  Teacher in Bacon District, Sorsogon City. Through work hard and continuous schooling, she was promoted as School Principal and eventually became Education Program Supervisor. The rest is history.
